Applications
From residential kitchens to five-star hospitality projects, Caesarstone engineered quartz adapts to demanding specifications while elevating aesthetic intention.
Common Questions
Caesarstone quartz is heat-tolerant up to approximately 150°C (300°F). For prolonged exposure to high heat — such as a hot pan directly off the stove — we recommend using trivets or pot holders. The resin binders in engineered quartz can discolor under sustained extreme heat, unlike natural granite.
Caesarstone quartz offers the visual richness of marble veining — particularly in the Calacatta series — without marble's porosity. Natural marble requires annual sealing and is susceptible to etching from acidic liquids like lemon juice. Caesarstone requires no sealing and resists etching under normal use.
Standard slabs are available at 3,050 × 1,440 mm (120" × 56") and jumbo format at 3,200 × 1,600 mm. Jumbo slabs allow for book-matching on large kitchen islands and minimize seam visibility in open-plan designs. Thickness options are 12mm, 20mm, and 30mm depending on the application.
Yes. Caesarstone holds NSF/ANSI 51 certification for food-safe surfaces. Its non-porous surface does not harbor bacteria or require chemical sealants. The material meets or exceeds hygiene requirements for residential kitchens, commercial food preparation, and healthcare settings.
The dedicated Outdoor Collection is specifically engineered for exterior applications — UV-stable pigments, frost-resistant mineral composition, and tested through 50+ thermal cycling tests. Standard indoor collections are not warranted for prolonged outdoor sun exposure.
Caesarstone provides a limited lifetime warranty for residential applications when installed by a certified fabricator. Commercial applications carry a 10-year warranty. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in material uniformity, structural integrity, and color consistency under normal use conditions.
