Caesarstone Cost per Metre and Heat Damage: A Contractor's Field Checklist

If you typed “Montessori floor bed,” “white crop top,” or “why does the top of my foot hurt all of a sudden” into Google, this article probably isn't what you meant to find. But if you're here because a client asked for a Caesarstone price per metre and you're not sure what to quote—or you're staring at a heat mark on a quartz countertop and wondering if it's the end of the job—this checklist is for you.

In my role coordinating material orders for contractors and designers, I've handled 200+ rush countertop requests in the past seven years. Some were routine. A few were “the apartment inspection is in 72 hours” nightmares. The ones that hurt were always the same: a price that looked good on paper, a slab that looked different in person, or a pan that turned a premium stone into a problem.

  • Thermal shock cracks when a hot pan meets a cold surface

  • Using harsh chemicals. Drain cleaner, paint stripper, or oven cleaner can etch the resin. Use pH-neutral soap.
  • Assuming samples are exact. They are starting points, not guarantees.
  • Ignoring the edge profile. A cheap edge detail can make a premium stone look builder-grade.
